Putting the Smackdown on Arthrogryposis

Is a 34-year-old gamer from Mississippi. He suffers from Arthrogryposis:

 What is arthrogryposis?

“Arthrogryposis, also called arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC), is a term used to describe a variety of conditions involving multiple joint contractures (or stiffness). A contracture is a condition where the range of motion of a joint is limited. It may be unable to fully or partially extend or bend.”

These contractures have left Trellis bound to a wheelchair without the use of his arms and legs. He still takes pride in the fact he can use his mind and has obtained a bachelor’s degree and hopes to move forward to get his master’s degree as well.

Trellis came to Stand up for Me and asked for a device that will allow him to continue his education and work out some frustrations kicking but in gaming tournaments.

The QuadStick mouse controller is a perfect assisted device to help Trellis increase his independence, go back to school, and enjoy his favorite hobbies.

“…this equipment would change my life in ways I can hardly dare to dream of.”
